Jonathan studied Mathematics at the Technical University Ilmenau and at University Freiburg, where he obtained his M.Sc. in 2019.
He is pursuing a PhD at University Freiburg on efficient algorithms, suitable formulations & differentiable solutions for optimal control under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Moritz Diehl. He is currently the maintainer of the open-source software framework “acados” which implements fast and embedded solvers for nonlinear optimal control.
