Short bio

Dang Doan obtained a 5-year BEng in Mechatronics from Programme de Formation d'Ingénieurs d'Excellence au Vietnam at  HCM City University of Technology (Vietnam), a MSc in Systems and Control and then PhD from Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands). He is currently a post-doc at the University of Freiburg (Germany) with the Georg Forster Fellowship from Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. He is working on distributed convex optimization algorithms, implementation of fast solvers on embedded controllers for nonlinear model predictive control, and estimation and control problems in applications.
