In this talk, Ass. Pr. S. Gros will present some recent work on real-time optimal control for energy-related applications performed at Chalmers Technical University, Sweden. The talk will first report on recent progresses on fast distributed convex programming for problems having a fixed topology. It will then present some recent work on fast Quadratic Programming performed for the R&D department of Volvo car. The most recent progresses on Real-time Economic NMPC for wind turbine control will be reviewed. Finally, the talk will present some early results concerning the integration of Airborne Wind Energy systems in the power grid.
