In robotics we want to combine advanced perception, planning, estimation and control algorithms to make a piece of hardware behave and move as desired. The algorithms are often distributed across multiple computational hardware platforms, and it is not uncommon that multiple robots need to coordinate their actions. In this talk we will sketch the landscape of robotics research at Bosch and discuss two topics in more detail: motion planning and ROS for microcontrollers.
