In this talk I will give an overview over several projects which we have considered just recently in my group: Load balancing for dynamically adaptive algorithms in 3D, modelling of shallow water flows, tsunamis, detonations, atmospherical flows, phase transitions and transport on moving surfaces. In my presentation, the main focus lies on the description of the original question, the mathematical model and the results (videos). As needed of course I can give more mathematical details.
