Curriculum Vitae

Arne Groß was born in Kiel in 1990. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degree in physics from TU Dresden and University of Freiburg in 2012 and 2014 respectively. Since 2016 he is pursuing his PHD under the supervision of Prof. Moritz Diehl.

His research interest includes the development of intelligent control strategies for energy systems in the smart grid considering uncertainties in forecasts for renewable energy generation. He focuses on implementation of efficient optimization algorithms for stochastic systems and application to real life use cases arising due to the transformation of the energy systems to renewable energy sources.
